Morning: Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Arusha, where you’ll meet your professional guide. After a briefing about your upcoming safari, you will begin your scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, approximately a 6-hour drive through the stunning Tanzanian countryside. Along the way, enjoy the picturesque views and stop for refreshments as needed.

Afternoon: Upon arrival at Serengeti Heritage Camp, you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink and a brief introduction to the camp’s facilities. After settling into your luxury tented accommodation, enjoy a delicious lunch with a view of the African wilderness.

Late Afternoon: In the afternoon, you’ll embark on your first game drive in the Serengeti. Your guide will take you to the best spots for wildlife viewing, where you may encounter lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras, and more. The Serengeti’s vast plains are teeming with wildlife, and this early game drive will give you a taste of what’s to come over the next few days.

Evening: After a thrilling day of wildlife exploration, you’ll return to Serengeti Heritage Camp. Enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars, prepared with local ingredients, and unwind by the campfire as you listen to the sounds of the African wilderness.

Morning: After an early breakfast, set off on a full-day game drive. Serengeti National Park is vast, and today’s exploration will take you across different landscapes, from the open savannah to riverine woodlands. Your guide will ensure you don’t miss out on the Great Migration if it coincides with your travel dates, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles make their way across the plains.

You’ll also visit Seronera River, famous for its resident hippos, crocodiles, and abundant wildlife. This area is also well-known for sightings of the elusive leopard and cheetah.

Lunch: A picnic lunch will be provided in the heart of the Serengeti, allowing you to experience the wilderness up close while enjoying a meal surrounded by nature.

Afternoon: Continue your safari exploration in the afternoon, visiting different areas of the park to maximize wildlife sightings. You may visit the Moru Kopjes, which offer not only stunning landscapes but are often home to prides of lions resting atop the rocky outcrops.

Evening: Return to Serengeti Heritage Camp in the late afternoon. Relax and reflect on your exciting safari day before enjoying a sumptuous dinner. The evening can be spent around the campfire, sharing stories with your guide and fellow travelers.

Morning: On your last day in Serengeti, enjoy an early morning game drive as the sun rises over the savannah. This is one of the best times to spot predators such as lions and hyenas on the hunt, as well as herds of animals grazing as they prepare for the day.

Mid-Morning: Return to Serengeti Heritage Camp for a hearty breakfast. Afterward, you’ll have a bit of time to relax and take in the beauty of the surrounding landscape before you check out.

Late Morning: Begin your journey back to Arusha, with your guide ensuring you get the most out of your remaining time in the Serengeti. Along the way, you can stop for a break and enjoy the views of the Tanzanian countryside.

Afternoon: You will be dropped off at your accommodation in Arusha, marking the end of your private Serengeti safari.
